Description
This Salmon Bug is a classic Atlantic salmon fly designed for anglers who demand both performance and tradition on the water. With a natural deer hair body for buoyancy, a chartreuse yarn butt for a flash of visibility, and a rich brown hackle, it’s a proven choice for enticing aggressive salmon in both fast currents and calm pools.
🟢 Why It Belongs in Your Fly Box:
- Natural Presentation: The deer hair body floats effortlessly, imitating natural insects skimming the surface.
- High Visibility: The chartreuse butt adds a vivid trigger point, making it easier for salmon to spot in varying water conditions.
- Proven Performer: Ideal for rivers like the Gander River and across Atlantic Canada, this bug is a favorite during the summer salmon runs.
