Flash UV Shimmer is great as a flash addition to wet fly wings, baitfish bodies and as feelers for shrimp type flies. The UV treatment makes the flash glow in low-light conditions, thus making it ideal for flies that are fished in early day or late day low light conditions or deep presentations or murky conditions.

There are a number of ways to apply this material. It can be applied sparsely to wings as an accent, or as desired to baitfish style bodies. Individually as feelers. It can be tied in as a bunch, for wings that will produce an intense glow, and it can be wound for UV bodies and tags.

Comes in 12” bundles zip-tied at the mid-point. Pull the complete strand out for big flies or cut near the zip for flies 6” or less in length.
