Nano Silk is an amazing tying thread, extremely strong and fine it gives confidence to fly tyers and avoids build up. Nano silk MUST be used with ceramic bobbin holders. Although strong its fine fibres are almost weightless. 

Nano Silk strength means it can cut through fine or hollow fibres or materials like foam, however if used flat or untwisted and lay 2 lose wraps before tightening down it is easy to avoid cutting materials. Finally make sure to use old scissors a craft blade or a sliding action with your scissors as cutting is a sure way to blunten your scissor blades because of its astounding strength

Nano Silk 100 Denier is designed for flies sizes #10 to 2/0.

Because Nano Silk lays perfectly flat you get no thread build up.

Pro Tips:
1 - rotate anti-clockwise to untwist and lay perfectly flat. With just 2 or 3 light wraps of Nano Silk over foam you can then tighten and tie in foams or materials that would cut easily.
2, use white Nano Silk and simply color the last 4 inches (100mm) of thread for heads in a visible color
