Why Would Fly Tyers Love This Product?

The RaidXap Xact Adjustable Bobbin is a game-changer for fly tyers who demand versatility and precision at the bench. Whether you’re spinning up intricate trout patterns or tackling large Spey, Dee, or Intruder flies, this bobbin adapts to your craft. With its interchangeable Predator and Trout heads, you can effortlessly switch between tying styles — all while enjoying smooth spool rotation and rock-solid thread control. The easy spool-swapping design means less fuss and more time creating masterpiece flies that stand up to the adventure. 🏞️✨

Features:

  • Large screw on head and removable large tube
  • Small screw on head and removable small tube
  • Bobbin threader included
The first bobbin on the market that allows you to choose the length of the tube. Choose between the trout (short head) or the predator (large head) to give you a custom fit for the size of your hand or fly.
The steel carbide tubes draw the heat away from your thread so you won’t damage the thread.
To swap heads unscrew the head on the bobbin and remove it. Take the other tube and head and slide them onto the bobbin, select the tube length, and tighten.

What Flies Is It Ideal For?

✅ Large predator patterns — Spey flies, Dee flies, Intruders, articulated streamers
✅ All-purpose trout flies — nymphs, dry flies, emergers, soft hackles
✅ Saltwater and warmwater flies — designed to handle a range of thread tensions
✅ Versatile use — from fine thread for tiny midges to heavy threads for big game streamers

Whether you're tying for wild rivers or coastal saltwater flats, the RaidXap Xact Bobbin gives you the control and flexibility every adventurous fly tyer craves.
