Burk’s Hexagenia Nymph – A Must-Have for Big Water & Big Fish
When the Hex hatch is on, trophy trout, bass, and other aggressive feeders key in on these large, meaty nymphs. The Burk’s Hexagenia Nymph is designed to imitate the natural Hexagenia limbata, one of the largest mayfly species, making it a prime meal for big fish lurking in slow-moving rivers, lakes, and stillwaters.
✅ Lifelike & Effective: Tied with realistic segmentation and subtle movement to perfectly mimic the natural Hex nymph.
✅ Perfect for Deep Water: Designed to fish low in the water column, where big trout ambush their prey before the evening hatch.
✅ Versatile & Deadly: A go-to fly for trout, smallmouth bass, and even big stillwater browns waiting for an easy, protein-packed meal.
If you love pursuing monster trout in the golden light of summer, this fly needs to be in your box. Fish it dead drift or with subtle twitches, and hold on—because when a big fish takes, it’s going to be one explosive fight! 🎣🔥
